ONLINE LEARNING @ ST LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY

St Lawrence University has uses different instructional methods. The ongoing crisis in the English speaking part of Cameroon has made studying at the Ndop Campus very challenging. This has been made event more complex by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

SLU Students either attend class at the respective Campus Center or at home through live video conference. 

We strongly encourage ALL international students to study online through the Virtual Learning Platform until further notice.

Tips for Successful Online Learning

1. You should have a dedicated space for online learning. Find a dedicated space at home to set up your study area. When you are there, you know it’s time to concentrate on your course work.
2. You should manage your time carefully. Set up times when you will log in, work on your homework and engage with your course mates. 
3. You should log on to your course frequently. Participation is key to successful online learning. Ensure that you participate in discussions and zoom conference calls with your class. 
4. You should reach out for help. If you need assistance, there are a variety ways through which you can get help, starting with your professor and classmates. Our student success coaches are a great resource for you, and the St Lawrence University online library helps students to be successful with online learning.
5. You should take breaks. Stop and refresh your brain from time to time. Study breaks keep your mind refreshed and engaged.
