![]() A Commission of higher education experts visited the St Lawrence University campus in Ndop as part of the technical process for the authorization of the institution. The Commission also visited the four acres piece of land located at the foot of the Ngoketunjia Mountain in Sangtah Quarter Bamessing. The Commission made up of four experts from the Ministry of Higher Education and one from the University of Bamenda was pleased with the overall preparedness of the institution and granted a favourable approval. They were also fascinated by the breath-taking view of the site where the permanent campus will be located. The four acress of land at Sangtah Quarter Bamessing was instantaneously approved and the members of the Commission requested that construction should commence as soon as possible because the site is excellent for a higher education institute. The Commissions last stop was at the temporary campus located at Church Street Bamunka-Ndop where they made recommendations on the various adjustments that should be made to meet the standards required by the Ministry. Overall, they were satisfied with the level of preparedness and promised, the equipment, and the infrastructure in place.
